CRM-system (Customer Relationship Management System) was implemented by PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” (ZTR). Automatic system of interrelation control with clients will permit to increase sales level of the company, optimize marketing and improve customer support. Process of CRM-system implementation was started in July 2010. One of the main backgrounds to start the project was intensive rivalry in the market and as the result, improvement of sales service in the successful functioning of the company. For this purpose it was necessary to use new effective tools such as CRM-system for work. Customer Relationship Management provides collection, keeping and review of information on consumers, customers, partners and internal process of the company. Simple control of sales business-process, guaranteed check of execution of assigned tasks, low aggregated value of ownership and return of investments are considered to be advantage.

PJSC “ZTR” has performed the contract on the delivery of the transformers for the solar power-station Solana (USA). Two transformers rated for power 200 MVA voltage 230 kV and two transformers rated for power 58 MVA voltage 230 kV will be supplied by ZTR in accordance with the contract conditions. Equipment was dispatched in November 2011. Implementation of the object operation is scheduled for the year 2013. General contractor of the PJSC “ZTR” customer was Abener Engineering and Construction (USA), included into group of Abengoa companies. Solana station will become one of the largest solar power-station rated for power 250 MW, which will be opened in the end of the year 2011, close to Dgila Bend in the southwest of Phoenix, Arizona state, USA. At the operation with total output station will produce energy, which will be used by 70 thousand consumers. PJSC “ZTR” has also executed the contract on the delivery of the furnace transformer rated for power 9 MVA voltage 13.8 kV for metallurgical plant Feliman Production, Western Virginia state, Letart, USA.

PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” has signed contract on the delivery of two transformers rated for power 40 MVA voltage 110 kV for HPP Ust-Kamenogorskay (Kazakhstan, Ust-Kamenogorsk city). Transformers will be installed instead of equipment operated for more than 40 years. Hydropower plant belongs to American energy corporation AES Corporation. «For the last five years it is the third delivery of the unit transformers for HPP Ust-Kamenogorskaya, – mentioned Yevgeniy Burmakov, the head of sales office into Kazakhstan, Middle Asia and Transcaucasia of PJSC “ZTR”. – Hydropower plant Ust-Kamenogorskaya is a strategic partner of ZTR that`s why maintenance of the quality of delivered equipment is of great importance for us, thereby remaining as the leader of transformer manufacturer in this market”.

PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” (ZTR) included into consortium with Indian company Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd signed contracts on the delivery of single phase autotransformers with state network company Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. Subject of the contract was the delivery of 33 transformers rated for power 500 MVA voltage class 765/400/33 kV, 13 units of which would be manufactured at PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator”. Other 20 transformers will be manufactured according to ZTR technology at the factory of the Indian partner. Equipment is designed for various substations rated for voltage 765 kV. «Victory in three tenders and signing of the contract for the delivery of 33 transformers is the result of intensive competitive activities, - mentioned the head of sales office to Southeastern Asia and Pacific region of PJSC “ZTR” Yelena Sidorenko. – In addition to our consortium Indian manufacturers of the transformer equipment (AREVA T&D, Crompton Greaves Ltd, ABB), as well as well-known foreign companies (Hyosung Korea, Baoding China, TBEA China) took part in tenders”.

The price of the new equipment makes up USD 710 thousand Two machines with computer numerical control for the laminate cardboard treatment were put into operation at PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” within investment program for improvement of conditions and efficiency of labour. The contract for the purchase of four side longitudinal-milling machine for the insulation production was signed in November. Machines are intended for the treatment of new multilayered material – “laminate” based on cardboard, glued by synthetic binding agent. The first machine, that treats center by means of computer numerical control is ROVER C9.50, intended to treat laminate was put into operation in October of the current year. For the present time insulation part lot for the current factory orders was manufactured, operators and developers of the program were trained. Supervision and setup-and-adjustment works of the second machine, center is cut by computer numerical control WNT-750 started in November of the year 2011. The first treatment of cutting mode of laminate plates will be performed in the nearest period.

PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” (ZTR) has secured the order to manufacture the transformer rated for power 135 MVA voltage class 500 kV for HPP Pedro del Agila (Argentina). Equipment will be installed instead of failed ZTR transformer, that was successfully operated more than for 15 years. Another 12 similar transformers, manufactured by PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” are installed on the same object. «Nevertheless the other transformers operate without any outages, quality of equipment has taken place for the customer», – mentioned the head of sales office to Europe and America Galiya Koshkina. – That`s why during the tender process the customer had addressed to independent experts. Siemens (Brazil) and АREVA (China) were the competitors of ZTR. ZTR has won tender in the intensive contest. By means of such actions customer has confirmed his assurance in the reliability of equipment, manufactured by PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator”.

PJSC «Zaporozhtransformator» (ZTR) signed a contract with HPP Buchtarminskaya (BHPP, Kazakhstan republic) to deliver two power transformers of auxiliary circuit rated for power 2.5 MVA voltage class 15 kV. Dispatch and mounting of the transformers are scheduled to the year 2012. «ZTR and HPP Buchtarminskaya, as for the transformer delivery, actively cooperate for many years, – noted Yuvgeniy Burmakov, the head of Sales office to Kazakhstan, Middle Asia and Transcaucasia. – The first contract with BHPP was signed in the year 2002. Within this period ZTR has delivered two three phase groups of unit transformers rated for power 120 MVA for each phase».

PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” (ZTR) has achieved order to manufacture two autotransformers rated for power 250 MVA voltage class 220 110 kV for KEGOC company (Kazakhstan republic). Equipment will be supplied to the Central state step-down substation (S/S CSSS), Astana city, which is included into the regional department JSC «KEGOС». During selection of supplier, the main requirements for KEGOС company were minimum period of manufacturing and transformer shipment. «Due to the high level of work organization at PJSC “ZTR”, synchronous operation of all departments, enterprise had the opportunity to manufacture, test and dispatch the first autotransformer within 90 days», – explains Yuvgeniy Burmakov, the head of sales office to Kazakhstan, Middle Asia and Transcaucasia.

PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” will supply linear regulating transformer rated for power 16 MVA voltage class 10kV to S/S Ishtikhan (Uzbekistan). Substation belongs to state-stock company “Uzbekenergo” which includes 54 enterprises and organizations. Preliminary technical negotiations with the company started in the year 2007, but facilities for the project realization appeared just now. Linear transformers are intended for regulation of voltage in the network rated for voltage 6-35 kV. «Equipment of such type is designed for stabilization of voltage in line achieving required value», – tells the head of DD Stepan Nehoroshiy. PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” continues active cooperation with GAK “Uzbekenergo”. More than 20 transformers were supplied to various objects of this company for the last years. It confirms the reliability and quality of equipment, manufactured by ZTR.

One of the largest investment projects of the year 2011 is the further modernization enterprise welding production. This year two new welding equipment were put into operation, air-plasmic cutting plant was installed, serious project as for quality of grinding has been commenced. According to the opinion of the enterprise specialists, new welding equipment TransSteel Synergic 5000, manufactured by Austrian company Fronius will assist in significant quality improvement of branch pipe welding of the transformer cooling system as well as they have function of inverse formation of weld joint and a number of other advantages in comparison to available welding technique of the present time

Extraordinary General meeting of PJSC “ZTR” shareholders took place on October 17, 2011. Meeting has approved the order of profit distribution in accordance with the results of economical activity of the year 2010 as well as profit share undistributed on the date December 31, 2009, terms and order of dividend payment. According to consideration of specified item, shareholders of Company made a decision to distribute profit, gained in accordance with economical activity of PJSC “ZTR” in the year 2010, in amount UAH 353 472 237,94 as well as profit share undistributed on the date 31.12.2009 in amount UAH 167 732,06 among shareholders of PJSC “ZTR”. Total amount of annual dividends for amount UAH 353 640 000,00 was approved. Amount of dividends paid for one share makes up UAH 0.16.

ZTR will supply 16 single phase transformers rated for power 533 MVA voltage 500 kV to HPP Sayano-Sushenskaya (Yenisei river, RF). Equipment will be installed instead of transformers manufactured by ZTR that have been I operation more than for 20 years. For modification of transformer equipment HPP Sayano-Sushenskaya has announced tender among the first-rate companies of engineering industry. Due to the professional competence and quality of supplied production, PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” has won the tender. Within the preparation of contract conclusion, ZTR suggested to customer two types of transformers: three phase transformer rated for power 800 MVA voltage 500 kV and single phase transformer rated for power 533 MVA voltage 500 kV. Customer has chosen the second type of the transformer. Such kind of selection was stipulated by economical efficiency, possibilities not to make significant changes and maximum keeping of construction parameters at station.

PJSC «Zaporozhtransformator» (ZTR) will supply two transformers rated for power 10 MVA voltage 35 kV to s/s “Rodovishche” (Kirovograd region). Equipment will be installed at ore dressing and processing enterprise related to ore sand output and production of ilmenite concentrate at Birsulovskoe deposit. Due to innovations in the production and availability of modern equipment, PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” has got an opportunity to cooperate with new customer – company “Velta” ltd (Dnepropetrovsk city). Production-and-commercial company “Velta” has performed the construction of ore dressing and processing enterprise, where the transformers should be installed. «One of the factors of ZTR advantages was the minimum shipping period of equipment – 3 months, – tells the head of sales office to Ukraine of PJSC “ZTR” Galina Karyaka. – Transformers were successfully tested and at the earliest possible date the equipment will be shipped according to the destination.”

PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” has signed a contract on the supply of the transformer rated for power 32MVA/110 kV for Mangistautskiy Atomic-and-Energy Enterprise (MAEE). The following enterprise supplies potable and utility water, heating and electricity to population of city Actau and nearby villages and industrial enterprises of region. “MAEE” company felt the necessity of new equipment because of the fault of one of the transformer manufactured in the year 1963. Due to the technical experience and reliability of the equipment ZTR was selected as manufacturer of new transformer. The replacement of the old transformer to the new one will be performed by Ural contractor company TOO “Kazelectroshchiet” that signed a contract with ZTR for the transformer supply. It should be mentioned that for several last years ZTR and “Kazelectroshchiet” company signed six contracts on the delivery of the transformers rated for power from 10 kV up to 110 kV. Kazakh company “MAEE” (Actau city) is included into state company “Kazatoprom”. “Kazatoprom”, as well as such Kazakh first-rate companies as “KEGOC” and JSC “AZK” are to be strategically important partners to PJSC ZTR. “Esteem us to collaborate with such companies, – tells Evgeniy Burmakov, the head of sales office to Central Asia and Transcaucasia, – and we will invest unordinary efforts to perform the transformer shipment in December of the current year.”

PJSC “ZTR” has completed contract for delivery of 2 autotransformers rated for power 250 MVA voltage class 220/110 kV and 4 transformers rated for power 63 MVA voltage class 10kV to the large distribution substation “Sigma”, Zelenograd city, RF. «Sigma» substation is included into MUENC (Moscow united electrical network company) and provides power supply for consumers of Zelenograd district, Moscow. Contract was signed in the end of the year 2007, but due to economical crisis and as a consequence to the absence of financing, project was suspended. It was recommenced in the year 2011, the delivery was awarded to PJSC “ZTR” due to the technical experience as well as the most competitive offer to the production delivery, that is scheduled to November of the current year.

Diploma of the 1st degree was obtained by representatives of PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” shunt reactor office in nomination “Production-and-technical products” of the regional contest “100 best products of Ukraine in the year 2011”. Organizer of this contest is State service of technical regulation of Ukraine (Gospotrebstandart of Ukraine), state enterprise “Saporozhyestandartmetrologiya” with assistance of Zaporozhye regional administration. The winners of the regional stage of the year 2011 were determined by Zaporozhye regional commission in August. Among the winners of the large enterprise category is “Zaporozhtransformator”, represented shunt reactor ROM 110 MVAr rated for voltage 750 kV. Shunt reactor is designed to compensate reactive power in electric power transmission lines rated for voltage 750 kV, increase of network bandwidth, improvement of electrical power quality, reduction of its losses during its transmission for the significant distances.

In the year 2011 volume of production and sales are planned to expand up to 45 mln.kVA Realization volume of production manufactured by PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” in the first six months of the year 2011 made up 19.7 mln.kVA. Such result corresponds to assigned purposes to get the level of production and sales up to 45 mln.kVA (45 GVA). Transformers rated for total power 26.3 mln.kVA were manufactured in the year 2010. «This year we have purpose to produce and dispatch production in the volume larger than 45 mln.kVA, in such way we could obtain values of the year 2008, the year prior to crisis. In the first six months we have implemented the assigned task and realized production in the volume 19.7 mln.kVA. We continue to solve the problem as for growth of our production competitiveness due to introduction of new materials and new technical solutions. This year we will implement insulation production made of laminate on the special cut equipment. It will help to carry out modern design solutions and therefore manufacture more competitive production, – tells General Director of PJSC “ZTR” Igor Kleyner. – In the year 2011 execution of technical strategy of ZTR development was continued. It includes simplification of the transformer design, reduction of material consumption during their manufacturing process, purchase and implementation of modern equipment within production process».

High voltage modular system for the test of single- and three phase shunt reactors rated for voltage 110–750kV was put into operation in July at PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator”. Modular system is a part of test equipment intended for check of insulation quality of reactors with the measurements of partial discharge level. Modular system has increased the quality of supply voltage during the test of reactor insulation with the partial discharge measurements. Modular system has also permitted to test interphase insulation of three phase reactors in accordance with the new requirements of standards.

Transformers manufactured by PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” (ZTR) will be operated at 8 solar stations in Spain. At present four transformers have been already mounted and mounting of other four transformers has been already started. In the end of the year 2010 ZTR entered EEC market and in the years 2010-2011 it has delivered eight transformers for objects of solar generation of Abengoa (Spain) company group. In accordance with contract conditions of Abengoa company, two transformers rated for power 60 MVA voltage 220kV installed at the new European solar stations Helioenergy-1 and Helioenergy-2 were dispatched and put into operation in March of the current year. In may of the current year additional two transformers rated for power 62.5 MVA, voltage 132 kV were mounted at solar stations Solaсor el Carpio. Two among four transformers rated for power 62.5 MVA voltage 220 kV, delivered to stations de San Juan and Solaben Logrosan will be put into operation in the end of July, additional two transformers are planned to commission up to the end of the year.

In accordance with the first six months of Central Asia and Transcaucasia market PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” (ZTR) has concluded orders for manufacturing of 44 transformers rated for voltage from 10 kV up to 500 kV and total power rated for 3160 MVA. 2500 MVA is planned to be dispatched in the current year. In the current year stock of orders in this market has been increased for 75% in comparison with analogue period of the last year (1808 MVA). Currently intake orders for distribution networks of Kazakhstan, namely REK North-Kazakhstan and significant order for electrical supply network company “Karaganda Zharyk” are in the production. Enterprise will supply the transformer rated for power 16 MVA voltage 110 kV for REK North-Kazakhstan. In accordance with contract conditions of “Karaganda Zharyk” the following five transformers will be manufactured and dispatched: two transformers rated for power 40 MVA voltage 110 kV for s/s “Botanicheskaya”, two transformers rated for power 40 MVA voltage 110 kV for s/s “Yugo-Vostok” and one transformer rated for power 63 MVA voltage 110 kV for s/s “Melkombinat”. Delivery is planned for August-September of the current year. In July of the current year representatives of this company have visited ZTR for acquaintance with productive powers and current conditions of order. Order for electrical supply network of Astana for two transformers rated for power 63 MVA voltage 110 kV (s/s “Chubary”) for micro region was recently concluded.

PJSC «Zaporozhtransformator» (ZTR) has signed contract on delivery of equipment for JSC “Transnational company “Kazkhrom” (Kazakhstan). Order for manufacturing of two transformers 250 МВА 220 kV for the main step-down substation rated for 220/35/10 kV of building workshop №4 of ferroalloy plant in Aktyubinsk that is included into JSC “Transnational company “Kazkhrom” (Kazakhstan) is distributed in production. According to schedule of construction equipment is to be delivered in the end of the current year. «Peculiarities of this contract is additional requirements of Customer as for environmental protection and complete set of equipment to be delivered – as mentioned the head of sales office into Middle Asia and Transcaucasia of PJSC “ZTR” Yevgeniy Burmakov. – Equipment of our production should be completed by measuring devices, included into Register of state traceability system of Kazakhstan Republic and to be free of substances rated for Stockholmskaya convention as for stable limited contaminants».

In June of 2011, the third paint-and-drying chamber was commissioned at PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator”. Equipment was purchased in the scope of investment project “Reconstruction of paint production” aimed for increase of the flow capacity of production. Total amount of investments makes up USD 1,500 mln. In the scope of the project it is stipulated to implement four paint-and-drying chambers: two of them were implemented in 2010, the third chamber will be commissioned in the first quarter of 2012. Start-up of paint-and-drying chambers will ensure establishment of additional production capacities at paint section and reduction of technological cycles at the expense of works mechanization, improvement of quality of the coatings and enhancement of appearance of the goods.

PJSC «Zaporozhtransformator» (ZTR) has signed the contract for delivery of equipment for CJSC «Donetskstal». Within the scope of signed contract, ZTR will manufacture two transformers 160 МVА 110 kV and autotransformer 200 МVА 220 kV for Donetsk company. Russian manufacturers were participated in the bid together with ZTR. PJSC «Zaporozhtransformator» won tendering owing to engineering know-how and high reputation of the Company. Equipment is scheduled to be delivered in the second half of the year 2011. In May, 2011, another tendering took place, and as a result, PJSC ZTR received the order for manufacturing and delivery of one transformer 25 МVА 35 kV. During last 5 years ZTR delivered 28 transformers with the whole power 1 891 МVА to the companies of iron and steel industry of Ukraine and Russia. Customers of ZTR equipment were the following enterprises: «Zaporozhstal», «Donetskstal», «Azovstal», «Dneprovskiy metkombinat», «Dneprospetsstal», «ОМK-Stal» as well as «Severstal» (RF).

In 2011–2012, PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” (ZTR) will manufacture and deliver for hydro-storage plant “Zagorskaya” (RF) 4 transformers rated for 265 MVA, 500 kV. HSP Zagorskaya is a branch of JSC “RusHydro”. The first two transformers for ZHSP will take place in 2011, the second lot is scheduled for 2012 in accordance with the Contract. PJSC “ZTR” will also carry out for Zagorskaya HSP the emergency-restoring repair and renovation in the factory conditions of the unit transformer 250 MVA, 500 kV, manufactured by ZTR in 1984 and commissioned in 1987. In March 2011, this transformer was removed of service after actuation of protection due to internal damages. Based on internal inspection, damage of winding was revealed.

Major project for MES Northwest has been completed Service center engineers of PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” (ZTR) have completed mounting of 8 transformers at the s/s Vostochnaya (St. Petersburg, RF). Works as for comprehensive reconstruction of substation were held within the project MES Northwest. ZTR has installed and mounted 4 two-phase autotransformers rated for 200 MVA 110 kV, two two-phase transformers rated for 25 MVA 110kV and two transformers for auxiliaries rated for 6.3 MVA 110kV at s/s Vostochnaya. Mounting of the transformer equipment was started in the year 2010. All the transformers were delivered in the year 2009 in accordance to contract, concluded between ZTR and MES Northwest in the middle of the year 2008.

The Systems of environmental management and health protection at ZTR correspond to the world standards In April 2011, PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” (ZTR) was successfully passed the certification audit as for correspondence of the Company Management System to International standards. Purpose of audit were standards ISO 14001 (environmental management system) and OHSAS 18001 (management system of safety and health protection). Audit of the company was carried out by world leader in the field of certification and consulting – the Company Bureau Veritas. According to Mr. Yury Shevchenko, Senior Auditor of Bureau Veritas Company in Ukraine, PJSC “ZTR” integrated management system could be recognized as a standard one for major enterprises, especially considering the fact that ZTR is dealing with implementation of world approaches as referred to environmental and labor protection rather recently.

Delegation of SE “National Energy Company “Ukrenergo” led by Mr. Grigory Grimud, Chief Engineer, visited PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” on April 20–21. The visit was purposed for participation in the technical seminar “Issues of operation of transformer equipment with worked-out service life”. Within the visit, “Ukrenergo” delegation has became acquainted with the main production workshops of ZTR, the scope of services that includes not only complex diagnostics employing besides the most up-to-date equipment, the other services ensuring solution of entire spectrum of issues related to operation of the transformer equipment. The members of delegation have noticed the modern level of available technology, large-scale modernization and high production standard.

PJSC «Zaporozhtransformator» (ZTR) has signed the contract for delivery of equipment for JSC «TPP-2 Ekibastuzskaya Power Plant», Kazakhstan. Within the scope of signed contract, ZTR will manufacture transformer 630 MVА 500 kV for modernization of the plant unit of TPP-2. Systems of monitoring and fire extinguishing will be also supplied for the Plant together with equipment. Equipment is scheduled to be delivered in the second half of the year 2011. Activities as for design – development of specification, agreement of technical specifications, and selection of the transformer cooling system – were initiated in November, 2009. In autumn, 2010, tendering on the transformer delivery took place, and as a result, PJSC ZTR was elected as the manufacturer of equipment. Chinese manufacturers participated in tendering together with ZTR. ZTR won tendering owing to engineering know-how and high reputation of the Company.

Results of the Company activities for the year 2010 and plans for the year 2011 were approved as well as the Company type was changed and corresponding changes to the Statute were approved at General Meeting of JSC “Zaporozhtransformator” shareholders on the date of April, 8th of the current year. In 2011 the Company is planning to increase the realization volume by 50% – from 2.345 billion UAH in 2010 to 3.5 billion UAH in the current year (in the production rates from 26.3 to 40 GVA accordingly). The profit in amount of 353 million 427 thousand UAH was secured in 2010.

JSC «Zaporozhtransformator» (ZTR) will manufacture equipment for S/S Olympiyskaya (Kiev), construction of which has been commenced within the State special-purpose program of preparation for Euro-2012. The object is purposed for energy supply of the National sports complex « Olympiyskiy». According to the contract terms, ZTR will manufacture and deliver two three-phase transformers rated for 63 MVA, 110 kV for the substation. On the date the advance repayment in amount 100% has been received and the order has been for manufacturing. The dispatch is scheduled for the third quarter of current year.

JSC “Zaporozhtransformator” (ZTR) has signed the new contract for equipment supply for JSC “ArselorMittal Temirtau” (Kazakhstan). The order for manufacture of transformer rated for 16 MVA, 35 kV for the Company Metallurgical Enterprise has been already placed for production. The equipment will be shipped in March 2011. Since the beginning of the year 2011, two transformers 63 MVA, 110 kV have been supplied to JSC “ArselorMittal Temirtau”. At present time the negotiations as for contract signing for delivery of another 2 transformers rated for 63 MVA are in process.

JSC “Zaporozhtransformator” has signed contract on transformer production for new unit of nuclear power plant in Beloyarsk (Sverdlovskaya region, Russian Federation). Subject of contract is 4 unit one phase transformers of 334 MVA rated for the voltage class 500kV. At present advance payment is received and order is under processing. Delivery of equipment is planned on the beginning of the year 2012. «Transformers which ZTR will manufacture for NPP Beloyarskaya, are intended for operation in unit with generator and will meet all requirements, specified for the objects of nuclear power engineering. Increased period of operation – not less than 40 years, and heightened seismic stability should become their peculiarities. Their design provides improved reliability in the operation of nuclear generation objects», – explained Sergey Podlesniy, chief designer of Chief Designer Department of ZTR.
