ZTR will supply autotransformer for Lithuania

“Zaporozhtranformator” PJSC (ZTR) has signed a contract for supply of autotransformer 125 MVA, 330/110 kV for Litgrid company (Lithuania). Equipment will be installed at substation “Alitus” instead of the transformer operated successfully at site for the period above 20 years.
In 2011, Litgrid company conducted the tender for delivery of transformers; beside ZTR, European manufacturers of transformer equipment took part in this tender. Intensive competitive struggle as well as long-term experience of collaboration with Lithuanian company has resulted in confident winning of “ZTR” PJSC.
“New delivery of ZTR is a continuation of collaboration with operator of national electrical grids of Lithuania, - noted Alexander Tzier, Sales Director of “ZTR” PJSC. – In 2012, ZTR manufactured and successfully delivered similar autotransformer for S/S “Kaunas” and autotransformer 250 MVA, 330 kV for S/S “Klaypeda”.

Transformer supply to the country-participant of European Community is a next confirmation of ZTR status as reliable and competitive supplier of state-of-art equipment.

Equipment dispatch is scheduled for June 2014.
