ZTR will supply transformers for the capital of Republic of Kazakhstan

“Zaporozhtranformator” PJSC (ZTR) has signed the contract for delivery of 3 transformers. In accordance with the contract, ZTR will manufacture autotransformer 125 MVA, 220 kV, and transformers rated for capacities 160 MVA and 32 MVA and voltage classes 110 kV and 35 kV, respectively. Equipment will be installed at TPP-2, Astana city, within the scope of reconstruction and enhancement of power supply foe Kazakhstan capital.

General contractor is “CentrKazEnergoMontag” JSC (CKEM), having been ZTR Customer for more than 5 years. “Since 2005, jointly with CKEM, ZTR has supplied 6 transformers rated for various capacities and purposed for power objects of Republic of Kazakhstan, - noted Alexander Tzier, Sales Director of “ZTR” PJSC. – In condition of increased power consumption by devepoped Republic of Kazakhstan, be means of the present supply, “Zaporozhtranformator” PJSC will provide high-quality and reliable equipment for TPP-2”. Final Client is Astana-Enegiya” JSC, which contains TPP-1 and TPP-2.

In 2012, the tender was conducted for delivery of transformers; besides ZTR, international companies were the participants of this tender. Intensive and competitive struggle has resulted in confident winning of ZTR, owing to execution of all requirements to design features of the equipment, confirmation of required delivery terms and competitive price quotation.

New delivery is a confirmation of ZTR reputation as reliable and competitive Supplier of state-of-art equipment, able to manufacture the transformers with consideration of up-to-date requirements as referred to dynamically developed cities such as Astana, and wherewith strengthening its authority as high-quality equipment manufacturer in CIS market.

Equipment dispatch is scheduled for the second half-year 2013.
