Transformers of PJSC “ZTR” will be operated at solar stations in Spain

Transformers manufactured by PJSC “Zaporozhtransformator” (ZTR) will be operated at 8 solar stations in Spain. At present four transformers have been already mounted and mounting of other four transformers has been already started.

In the end of the year 2010 ZTR entered EEC market and in the years 2010–2011 it has delivered eight transformers for objects of solar generation of Abengoa (Spain) company group. In accordance with contract conditions of Abengoa company, two transformers rated for power 60 MVA voltage 220kV installed at the new European solar stations Helioenergy-1 and Helioenergy-2 were dispatched and put into operation in March of the current year. In may of the current year additional two transformers rated for power 62.5 MVA, voltage 132 kV were mounted at solar stations Solaсor el Carpio. Two among four transformers rated for power 62.5 MVA voltage 220 kV, delivered to stations de San Juan and Solaben Logrosan will be put into operation in the end of July, additional two transformers are planned to commission up to the end of the year.

Nonconformities removed by enterprise services were detected during mounting of first two transformers. All nonconformities detected during mounting were considered during production of next transformers and they were mounted without comments”.
